We live for showcasing our local, fresh and in-season foods. We use ingredients that come directly from our garden, greenhouse, and orchards.

Schedule:

We are currently looking for someone with availability on Thursday, Friday and Weekends. We are looking for a long-term, permanent employee with the drive to grow. If you are looking for a seasonal job or will be going to school or moving away in the near future, this won’t be the right fit.

Job Summary:

Restaurant or Cafe Management experience is required. Previous experience as a barista is highly preferred. Requires ability to manage and motivate a team and provide exceptional customer service skills.

Duties:

  • The Cafe Manager is responsible for all the day to day operations of the cafe, including making espresso drinks, sandwiches, and taking customer orders.
  • Responsible for keeping stock of inventory and placing orders when necessary.
  • Ensure all food items are prepped ahead of time and ready to serve when needed.
  • Manage all front of house staff members including training new employees, scheduling, and motivating.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and espresso.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front of house.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist with food preparation (sandwich, soup, baked items) as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with all cleaning duties required to keep up a Cafe including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning cooking equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is an asset but not required.
  • Previous experience managing a team in a restaurant or cafe is required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations is a requirement.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
