Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. We are a breakfast restaurant that is open from 7AM-3 PM looking for someone who can work weekdays and/or weekends. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional customer service. As a Host/Server, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Duties
Host/Busser
Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor and managing reservations and seating arrangements.
Clear tables while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Server
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
Help with food handling tasks, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Experience
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food service or hospitality, is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
A positive attitude with a willingness to help others and work as part of a team.
Ability to clean and maintain work areas according to health standards.
Familiarity with restaurant operations is an advantage but not mandatory; we provide training for all new hires.
