Mandatory Induction week on March 24th, 2025

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Leading guest tours and excursions to showcase the best that the region can offer, while providing insightful commentary, historical information, and cultural context, enriching the guest experience.
• Engaging with guests, and creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Skilled storytelling, captivating guests with narratives and effective anecdotes. Use your tours to educate guests about local conservation efforts, environmental challenges, and sustainable practices. Encourage them to support these initiatives.
• Driving passengers safely to excursion locations and ensuring general maintenance of the vehicle.
• Managing receipts and expense reports on board and ensuring their reporting to accounting on a weekly basis.
• Carrying out daily purchases for the smooth running of the boat in collaboration with the chef.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Knowledge of local wildlife, history, and culture and the ability to provide engaging information to guests.
• Understanding of safety protocols, customer service, and guiding techniques.
• Ability to present information clearly, engage audiences, and adapt communication style to suit different individuals or groups.
• Friendly, approachable attitude; able to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to handle inquiries, address concerns, and create a positive experience for guests.
• Hospitality experience advantageous, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
