Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our skilled team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their carpentry skills while gaining hands-on experience in various construction tasks. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters, assisting in the assembly, fabrication, and installation of structures and fixtures. This role is perfect for those who have a passion for construction and a desire to learn the trade.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures made from wood and other materials
  • Help assemble and fabricate components according to specifications
  • Participate in masonry work, including brick and stone installations
  • Support construction painting tasks to ensure quality finishes
  • Aid in tile laying for flooring and wall applications
  • Assist with roofing tasks, including installation and repair of roofing materials
  • Perform caulking duties to seal joints and seams against water or air leaks
  • Learn to plumb structures accurately under supervision
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols

Qualifications

  • A strong interest in carpentry and construction trades
  • Basic understanding of tools used in carpentry and construction
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to carpentry
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
