Saw Operator/Warehouse Worker in Edmonton | $23-$25/hour (2025-03-27)

In this role, you’ll operate steel saws, fulfill orders accurately, handle materials efficiently, and contribute to the smooth flow of our warehouse operations.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Drive Side loader and Forklift to move stock around the warehouse in a safe manner.
• Operate overhead crane to move stock around the warehouse in a safe manner.
• Count, weigh, inspect incoming stock transfers, buyouts, mill direct shipments and customer orders and put them into stock or into the shipping racks.
• Communicate any errors noted on orders to the warehouse foreman.
• Put material into stock pans, racks in an easy to access and safe manner.
• Weigh material accurately to ensure inventory is accurate.
• Follow directions listed on the order to fulfill customer requirements.
• Measure material to ensure that the bar filled is the bar that was ordered.
• Work with other warehouse staff positions to meet warehouse needs or customer needs, directed by the warehouse supervisor and foreman.
• Clean and keep clean the receiving area of the warehouse.
• Any other jobs as requested by the warehouse supervisor.
• Complete inventory item/cycle counts.

Deal Breaker:

• Certified with forklifts, side loaders, overhead cranes and weigh scales.
• Attention to detail with numbers and measuring tools is necessary, and knowledge of how to use measuring tools (scale, micrometer and tape measure).
• Good computer skills and good verbal communication are required.
