Kumama Bistro is a Chef-driven, ingredient-led experience using influence from our International guest and own travels. The bistro is located at the main building of Pine Bungalows Resort in Jasper National Park. We are currently seeking a server/bartender with upscale casual dining experience to join our amazing team of leading professionals in the hospitality industry. This position is ideal for ambitious individuals with a passion for food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Manager/Supervisor, responsibilities and job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Consistently offer professional engaging guest service
• Excellent knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails
• Guide guests through menu items with informative recommendations
• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards
• Have full knowledge of all menu items and preparation methods
• Follow all safety policies when handling food and beverage
• Solid understanding of craft beer.
• Other assigned duties

Qualifications:

• Experience in fine dining service
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on customer needs, remaining calm and attentive at all times
• Alberta ProServe is required

Expected Start date: mid-April

Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
