UW Calgary is a business consulting and strategic brand marketing firm located in the Calgary area.

We specialize in preparing, launching, and optimizing brand awareness, sales, and promotional marketing strategies.

We are experts at what we do, and we need an Entry-Level Marketing Assistant that possesses that same tenacity and confidence to join our competitive, entrepreneurial-minded team.

We are currently looking to hire an Entry-Level Marketing Assistant in order to keep up with the demands of our client.

Your main focus as an Entry-Level Marketing Assistant will be to connect with our clients' audience in order to promote their brand, products, and services and leave a lasting impression.

Experience has taught us that creating live campaigns to establish face-to-face connections with the buyers produces the most impressive results.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive brand awareness through live campaigns, interacting with customers to promote comprehensive knowledge of our clients' products.
  2. Attend daily meetings to understand and stay current on all things related to the products, services, and pricing offered by our clients.
  3. Manage end-to-end all sales, customer service, and client relations tasks.
  4. Build a rapport with customers to ensure you can offer them the most personalized service solution.
  5. Maintain relationships with existing customers and acquire new customers.
  6. Define a strong brand image for our clients ultimately resulting in achieving sales targets to ensure our clients’ success.
  7. Undergo comprehensive training to enhance your communication and promotional sales skills when interacting with customers.
  8. Represent our client with enthusiasm and knowledge to create a positive and memorable brand experience.

Requirements:

  1. 1-3 years experience in sales, retail, customer service, or the restaurant industry.
  2. Must be available for full-time hours.
  3. Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  4. Exceptional interpersonal skills, clear and engaging communication skills.
  5. Positive attitude with lots of energy, self-motivation, personal integrity, and an entrepreneurial flair.
  6. Well-developed problem-solving skills.
  7. Able to start within 1 to 2 weeks.
  8. Regular access to a vehicle is preferred.
