Our member is looking to hire a Territory Sales Manager – Construction Equipment Sales for their company which covers: Grey, Bruce, Huron, Dufferin, Perth, Wellington & Waterloo regions.


Our member is a leader in the sales and distribution of Construction Heavy Equipment, Intermodal Container Handling and Industrial Forklift lines. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, dynamic, and motivated individual to join our Sales team! As a Territory Sales Manager, you will achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within the assigned territory by effectively selling the Company's products and related services.


What will you do as a Territory Sales Manager?

  • Promotes, sells, and secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing and potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territories to generate new business for our products and services.
  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, equipment inventory manager, and service departments as necessary.
  • Analyzes the territory's market potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.
  • Maintains a superior knowledge of products offered through sales training with the manufacturers and maintains current knowledge of current market conditions including knowledge of competitors and related programs.
  • Maintains current database on finance offerings by the manufacturers and by the finance sources available to customers.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Heavy Equipment Sales experience, preferable in the construction equipment industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment and related technologies
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Ability to travel within the designated territory as required
  • Valid driver’s license
