As the Content Manager, you will play a critical role in assessing, developing, and embedding content creation capabilities to support the company’s Omnichannel Digital Transformation. You will drive the adoption of key standards in content planning, production, and deployment, ensuring seamless integration across channels. This role ensures that teams have the right tools, processes, and training to create high-quality, compliant, and customer-centric content efficiently.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Customer Excellence, and BTS (IT)—to enhance content creation, approval, governance, and distribution. You will be instrumental in enhancing content workflows and production efficiencies while driving the adoption of best practices in omnichannel content activation.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation Capability Building

  • Develop and execute the local capability-building roadmap to enhance digital content maturity across the organization.
  • Act as local Subject Matter expert on local content capabilities; communicating and training as tools are enhanced.
  • Collaborate with local and global cross-functional teams to:
  • Assess current local digital content capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Define and implement digital content frameworks, guidelines, and governance models to ensure efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
  • Evolve towards a content fit-for-channel standard, optimized for various delivery platforms and is seamlessly integrated across customer touchpoints.

Content Standards, Operations & Process Optimization

  • Define and implement content standards, templates, and guidelines to ensure brand consistency with key message mapping, compliance, and quality across digital and non-digital formats.
  • Inform and implement a scalable, modular content approach, including automation, and content reuse strategies to improve efficiency and personalization of omnichannel engagement.
  • Lead the adoption of content management and approval systems (e.g., Veeva Vault), digital asset management (DAM), and other tools that enhance content automation, tagging, and performance tracking.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline content production processes, optimize end-to-end content workflows, reducing inefficiencies in briefing, production, review, and distribution, ensuring faster time-to-market while maintaining compliance.

Content Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to defining KPIs and measurement frameworks to track content production efficiency.
  • Utilize data analytics and insights to propose recommendations to improve content effectiveness, customer engagement, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with OCM team to test and optimize content performance across channels, leveraging analytics to drive improvements.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital content, AI, and omnichannel marketing to drive continuous innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital content management, omnichannel marketing, or content strategy in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian pharmaceutical content compliance (MLR, regulatory requirements).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM), and AI-driven content tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO, content tagging, personalization, and modular content approaches.
  • Ability to translate complex digital concepts into practical communication/training programs for business teams.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in Omnichannel Digital Transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and data-driven content personalization.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Veeva Vault, or other pharma-specific platforms.
