WHO ARE WE?

For over 50 years, Construction Gély has specialized in industrial, institutional, civil, and residential construction in the Nordic regions. We actively participate in the development of the Far North and the vitality of the communities where we operate.

Our human resources department is composed of five professionals who combine their expertise and ingenuity to meet the challenges of construction in the Arctic.

Task
Planning and coordinating site personnel (65% of the time)

  1. Manage the complete site employee staffing process;
  2. Assist project managers and superintendents in coordinating the workforce on various sites;
  3. Answer various questions from workers and potential candidates;
  4. Manage CCQ files;
Assign and coordinate training (20% of the time)

  1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor various training activities;
  2. Coordinate the performance evaluation process for construction site employees;
Other tasks performed (15% of the time)

  1. Participate in the implementation, improvement, and updating of company policies;
  2. Participate in the preparation and logistics of the annual meeting;
  3. Participate in ad hoc special assignments;
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in human resources (extensive experience will be considered in the absence of training);
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  3. Spoken and written English at a high level Advanced;
  4. Work experience in the construction industry (a major asset);

Working Conditions
  1. Full-time position (37.5 hours), permanent from Monday to Friday;
  2. 20 days of annual vacation and 2 flexible days;
  3. Office closure (paid) during the holiday season;
  4. Flexible schedule;
  5. Compressed work week possible;
  6. Possibility of one day of teleworking per week;
  7. Group insurance covered 75% by the employer and health credit account;
  8. Group savings plan with employer contribution;
  9. Closed office, air conditioning and heating with independent controls for each office;
