Are you detail-oriented with a hands-on approach? Join our team at the Spruce View Farm Centre as a part-time Yard Attendant.

Position: Yard Attendant

Part-time: 24 – 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities

1. Provide excellent customer service
2. Accurately receive and process inventory
3. Load and unload shipments
4. Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery
5. Pick orders according to customer receipts
6. Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

1. Exceptional attention to detail and quality
2. Highly self-motivated
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Outstanding customer service and communication skills
5. Team player with the ability to work independently
6. Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an asset
7. Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
8. Experience running a forklift is preferred
9. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
10. Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
