POSITION OVERVIEW
Contribute to the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Canada by helping entrepreneurs acquire skills. The Learning Coordinator works in partnership with the Learning Specialist in the development, sales support, delivery, and coordination of leadership and management skills development programs for entrepreneurs and business leaders in Canadian SMEs.
You will be joining an intrapreneurial team of passionate people who are at the heart of BDC's mission (the D of BDC).
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Be part of the development and launch of our innovative and engaging new learning programs for Canadian entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Ensure the creation, deployment, and coordination of national events and learning programs.
Manage and participate in portfolio-related projects.
Work with internal and external partners to ensure optimal participation in our programs, which includes some elements of sales support.
Take charge of/coordinate operations related to the realization of cohort programs.
Identify, propose, and implement innovative improvements to processes, procedures, and tools to ensure outstanding service to BDC customers and internal stakeholders.
Manage and execute all communications to customers and internal target audiences in alignment with the strategy established with the specialist.
Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for all types of training (online, virtual, and classroom) and propose improvements to the system.
Manage the day-to-day relationship with our suppliers and key partners.
Use your creativity and technical skills to produce short videos and create training tools.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in learning, administration, teaching, or related field.
4 to 5 years' experience in training program management, business administration, and/or event management.
Customer focus: Good ability to interact with external customers and internal collaborators.
Experience in Learning Management System management (D2L Brightspace an asset).
Excellent command of English and French (spoken and written).
Comfortable with technology and strong capacity to learn new tools.
Problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Experience with virtual classroom platforms.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong ability to organize work to meet tight deadlines while managing and balancing priorities (multi-tasking).
Self-reliance, resourcefulness.
