Child Care Workers – 2 Full Time, Permanent Positions

Manitoulin Family Resources requires 2 full time Child Care Workers. These positions will be working
with children from infant to school age. The positions will be based out of the Central Manitoulin
Public School location and the Little Current Child Care Centre location.

The successful candidate must have:

1. Professional designation with registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
2. Excellent interpersonal, planning and communication skills
3. Theoretical knowledge of the reflective practice of early childhood education and be able to “plan and deliver inclusive play-based learning programs” for families and children of all ages
4. Ability to be a team player
5. Valid First Aid and Infant CPR certification
6. Up to date medical and immunizations
7. Clear vulnerable sector screening check
8. Current Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
9. Insurable Driver’s Abstract

These positions have physical requirements such as lifting and physical play with young children.
These positions are Full Time positions within the bargaining unit. Flexibility in scheduling will be
required to meet the needs of the programs.
