The Community:
Selkirk is located about 22 km northeast of Winnipeg on the Red River. It is the largest city in the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority’s region, with a population of over 10,000 and is home to the Selkirk and District General Hospital. Selkirk is a four season playground with endless recreational fun. Feel free to golf, fish, visit the farmer’s market, enjoy a river walk and outdoor concert in the summer. Dress up warm and brave the cold for ice fishing, hockey and snowmobiling in the winter. Selkirk is home to the Marine Museum of Manitoba, The Gwen Fox Gallery, and the Selkirk Community Arts Centre Inc. Dubbed the catfish capitol of North America, Chuck the Channel Catfish welcomes visitors into Selkirk.

Description:
As a fee-for-service practitioner, the Physician will be invited to admitting privileges to follow inpatients in the newly constructed Selkirk Regional Health Centre. Clinic space is available with the various private practices. Please inquire for details.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will be eligible for registration & licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba and have CMPA coverage or equivalent.

Compensation:
Compensation is derived from fee-for-service income.

Primary Site Location:
Primary Care: Various private clinic settings.
