Manual Lathe Operator

Location:

• Jane and Hwy.7

Shift:

• Days and afternoons rotating
• Night shift

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate manual lathe
2. Operate milling machines
3. Work with vertical and radial drill press
4. Use both automatic and manual undercutting machines and tools
5. Perform all mechanical measurements to rebuild motor components and tools
6. Use balance and brush plating machines

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. 1-2 years’ experience in a related industry
2. Must have mechanical or electrical aptitude
3. Basic mathematical capabilities with an understanding of tolerances and bearing fits
4. Capable of reading mechanical drawings and specifications
5. Understanding of safety concepts including ISO 9001
6. Knowledge of basic manual ARC welding
