IT Support Specialist (Stand alone role)

Oakville

60-65K (In office)

Our client is a looking to hire an IT Support Specialist to join their team on full time basis. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage user accounts, system access, and enterprise applications (Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPNs).
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, and security measures.
  • Set up and configure IT equipment; manage onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors, log service requests, and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Develop IT training materials and maintain documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/certification in IT or related field.
  • 2-3 years of IT support/help desk experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPNs, and security tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with remote support tools and A/V systems.
