Architectural Technologist - Millwork and Kitchen Design

This role is with a custom kitchen and cabinetry design company, specifically in the high-end custom home department. You will be dealing with luxury clients, designing and project managing custom design and installation of kitchens, closets, millwork, and cabinetry.

Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to understand their needs and wants for their custom home kitchen and other cabinetry design plans.
• Utilize company products, fixtures, and modules to create custom layout and design plans.
• Visit sites to measure and assess space, and ensure quality during installation.
• Work with AutoCAD daily to design and detail the project.
• Create construction details for installation.
• Use knowledge of millwork and cabinetry installation to solve technical challenges and design within technical constraints.
• Manage client interactions throughout the process, ensuring a strong customer service component.
• Keep track of pricing and product quotes, and manage accounting and invoicing for your projects.
• Manage up to 25 individual projects in one year.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• Millwork experience is mandatory.
• 3+ years of AutoCAD experience related to architectural design, with an understanding of construction and building code requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and provide strong customer service.
• Understanding of residential kitchen and home design.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

MUST HAVE A VALID ONTARIO DRIVER'S LICENSE (Company vehicles are provided for site visits).
