Overnight Manufacturing Operator

Looking for a long-term career in Medical Device Manufacturing? Agilus is recruiting for several Overnight Manufacturing Operators in the Life Sciences Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. As a manufacturing operator, you are responsible for overseeing the proper function of the assembly line. This is a great opportunity for people who are interested in long-term opportunities in the Life Sciences, Biomedical, and Medical Device Manufacturing environments. This is a full-time contract for at least 1 year with a strong possibility of extension and/or permanence.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for overseeing the function of the assembly line
2. Evaluate quality and productivity problems to minimize errors and defects throughout the process
3. Make required material changes and adjustments in a timely manner, without sacrificing work quality
4. Record accurate and legible data in a timely manner, creating documented reports on findings and observations

Successful candidates will have:

1. Looking for long-term positions with the opportunity for growth and development
2. Strong detail-oriented skills
3. Previous experience in manufacturing is desired
4. Previous experience working overnights is desired
5. Must have a high school diploma, minimum (If education is outside of Canada, please provide a WES verification)
6. Must be comfortable having a backcheck conducted
7. Strong communication is required
