What We Offer

Competitive Rates:

• $44.16/hr - $47.73/hr - Electrician/PLCs
• $44.16/hr - Millwrights

Shift Premiums:

• 12-hour Continental Shifts
• Shift Schedules: 2-week continental shift rotation either 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am OR 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am
• Scheduled Weekend Shift Premium: +$4.00 per hour
• Night Shift Premium: +$1.65 per hour

• 8hr Rotating Shifts:
• Shift Schedules: weekly rotation of days (7am-3pm), nights (11pm-7am), and afternoons (3pm-11pm)
• Afternoon shift premium: +$0.65 per hour
• Night shift premium: +$0.85 per hour

About the Role:

We're on the lookout for talented individuals like you to join our maintenance team in Brantford, ON. As a Maintenance Millwright or Electrician/PLC Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our chocolate and confectionary manufacturing facilities. As a leading chocolate manufacturer known for our commitment to quality and innovation, we provide a stable work environment where your contributions are valued and recognized. You'll get to work with state-of-the-art chocolate manufacturing equipment and technology, making a real impact on the production of our delicious treats enjoyed by chocolate lovers everywhere.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing food processing equipment to optimize safety, reliability, and food safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, installation, commissioning, and optimization of machinery.
• Manage equipment change-overs and production line setups.
• Conduct welding, machining, and fabrication tasks as needed, maintaining sanitation standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures to maintain health and safety, food safety, GMPs, and HACCP standards.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright trade license (433A) or Industrial Maintenance Electrician License (442A or 309A).
• Relevant experience (8+ years if unlicensed).
• Previous experience in the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods industry is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for independent work and team collaboration.
• Flexible and adaptable to rotating shifts.
