Students who excel in this position enjoy working on the hardware-software automation solutions, and are driven by complex problem solving in a fast-paced environment. The role includes direct involvement with leading edge products, and provides an opportunity to experience all areas of automation development while working within a very experienced group of automation and process engineers. You should be familiar with most electronic technologies and be able to work with products for the consumer, enterprise, communications, industrial, healthcare and aerospace markets. A strong programming background (on various software platforms) is an asset. The ideal candidate is enrolled in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science Program.

Education: Applicants must be currently enrolled in a formal 16-month University Internship/Co-Op Program and are completing 3rd year of a 4-year Engineering program.
Students will enjoy a stimulating, fast-paced and challenging work environment with opportunities to develop new skills, while working in a highly motivated team. This position is only for active students that will have completed 3 years of a 4-year Engineering program as of May 2025.
As this position involves work that is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP), your employment offer is conditional upon the successful completion of a security assessment by Celestica and/or its authorized agents, per the Controlled Goods Regulations. In addition, since this position involves US origin military work under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), there are certain citizenship criteria, which must be met as directed by the US Department of State.
