The Role

As a key member of our team the Breakfast Server is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all guests. They will provide prompt and courteous service, accurate order-taking, and a comprehensive understanding of our menu offerings and daily specials. Always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, the Server ensures that every guest enjoys a luxurious and memorable dining experience.

Your contributions to the team include:

1. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service.
2. Take food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
3. Identify and communicate guests’ special dietary needs and requests.
4. Maintain extensive knowledge of the menu, including bar items, and provide suggestions.
5. Serve food and beverages professionally and courteously.
6. Ensure guests are enjoying their meal and promptly address any issues.
7. Take and process guest feedback constructively.
8. Anticipate and respond to additional guest needs.
9. Prepare accurate bills and collect payments efficiently.
10. Set and clean tables according to standards, ensuring cleanliness and repair of all items used.
11. Perform designated cleaning tasks, including opening and closing routines.
12. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
13. Promptly address guest service issues and refer to management when necessary.
14. Assist with special events as needed.
15. Strive to work cohesively with all Food & Beverage team members.
16. Follow OH&S standards and all resort policies and procedures to ensure a safe workspace.
17. Additional tasks and duties as assigned.

A few things we are looking for in a new team member:

1. 1 + years’ experience working in a serving position.
2. Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Excellent team player with positive interpersonal skills and professional personality.
6. Flexible and adaptable, able to work well under pressure.
7. Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
8. Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar areas.
10. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods.
11. Working knowledge of Silverware POS System.
12. Serving It Right Certificate.
13. Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
