Job description
Job Title: Industrial Painter

The contractor will be responsible for painting larger industrial components, manufacturing equipment, and small parts. Tasks include prep, set up, finishing, airless spraying, masking, quality checks on paint thickness, and potential use of a blast booth. The role involves working as part of a larger team on bigger components and assisting in the facility as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Paint larger industrial components and manufacturing equipment
  • Perform prep, set up, and finishing tasks
  • Use airless spraying techniques and masking
  • Conduct quality checks on paint thickness
  • Potential use of a blast booth
  • Work as part of a larger team on bigger components
  • Assist in the facility as needed

  • Measuring dry and wet film thickness of paint
  • Use of airless sprayer

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a direct competitor assembly shop
  • Experience painting compression units and pipes

Work Environment

  • Shifts available: Days and Nights (Premium on nights)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.25 - $35.25.

This is a fully onsite position in Calgary, AB.
