Landscape Technician

Title of the position: Landscape Technician (NOC 22114)

Job duties:

1. Lead crew members in duties such as excavation, base preparation, landscape lighting, concrete flatwork, and lawn installation.
2. Perform general landscape maintenance including planting and transplanting.
3. Perform general hardscape installation and maintenance procedures.
4. Operate skid steers, compact excavators, chainsaws, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
5. Revise blueprints as needed (or as situation requires).
6. Plant and move trees.
7. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned/instructed by Project Manager.

Skills requirements:

1. Preferred minimum of 2 years related experience.
2. Preferred knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications.
3. Preferred residential and/or commercial landscape construction experience.
4. Must be highly motivated, self-driven, detail-oriented, professional in appearance and actions, punctual, and dependable.
5. Must have time management skills.
6. Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge, and skill levels.
7. Ability to mentor and train.

Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time

Language of work: English

Wage: $28.00 per hour for 35 to 45 hours per week
