Position Overview:

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented E-commerce Specialist to craft compelling product descriptions, engaging website copy, and support e-commerce merchandising. This role blends storytelling and e-commerce expertise to enhance our online presence, drive conversions, and support our brand’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Product Listings & Descriptions – Write engaging, SEO-friendly product descriptions with romance copy that brings each product to life. Gather product details from vendors and collaborate with buyers to prioritize listings.
  • Blog Writing – Research and produce informative, SEO-driven blog posts.
  • Website Content Management and Merchandising – Update website pages, category descriptions, and ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and optimized for search engines.
  • SEO Implementation – Implement SEO best practices to enhance blog posts, product pages, and other website content, improving organic search rankings and driving traffic.
  • Marketing & Email Copywriting – Create compelling email subject lines, marketing copy, and content briefs while collaborating with designers to develop impactful campaigns.
  • Content Audits & Fixes – Identify and correct website content errors, broken links, and inconsistencies to maintain a polished and professional online experience.
  • Analytics & Reporting – Generate and analyze reports from web analytics tools to support the e-commerce team and other departments identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with buyers, imaging teams, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and successful product launches.
  • Assist with various e-commerce and marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience with e-commerce content writing.
  • Possess strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in optimizing content for search engines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager is a plus.
