About the Team:
The Ecommerce Web Merchandising Specialist is primarily responsible for utilizing our core systems including Salesforce Commerce Cloud / SFRA, Content Square, Einstein, and Adobe Analytics to flawlessly execute our online trading strategy and continuously optimize the consumer journey while maximizing sales on the US website.
The ideal candidate is a site merchandising expert with solid experience owning and driving category performance to meet the financial targets of the business. They will have in-depth experience analyzing and interpreting data to drive strategic optimizations to the customer journey, including but not limited to: understanding customer entry points, adjusting customer journeys, building out testing plans and ideas. They will have a keen understanding of the digital tactics required to drive revenue and margin in eCommerce. In addition, they will have experience managing site catalogs, navigation, taxonomy, campaigns, and dynamic merchandising such as SEO, sorting rules, onsite search, and product recommendations. They will also have an extensive technology background and interest that allows them to stay ahead of innovation within the digital commerce space.
Your Role as an E-Commerce Trading & Site Merchandising Specialist, CA:
- As a category owner, you will be expected to develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy aligned with Pandora’s overall business objectives. Identify customer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive category growth and differentiation.
- Drive revenue growth through effective planning, execution, and optimization of ecommerce initiatives. Analyze sales data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Analyze and report on daily / weekly / quarterly category and site performance to provide recommendations for actionable optimizations, documenting results, and sharing best practices.
- Manage the Salesforce Commerce Cloud / SFRA Business Manager ecommerce platform, partnering with other site merchandising specialists to execute the day-to-day site merchandising and trading tasks as well as executing campaign activations on the Pandora US site.
- Optimize navigation, sorting, PLP filters/search refinements and onsite search identifying opportunities; drive changes based on internal customer behavior, external search, and competitive insights.
- Strategize, optimize and execute the activation of new product launches and approved campaigns in line with the Americas and Global guidelines.
- Optimize onsite search performance weekly and reduce no search results.
- Optimize product sorting within categories as well as search results pages.
- Drive strategic initiatives to create a seamless customer experience. Work closely with Testing & Personalization team to execute and iterate on A/B tests to optimize and personalize the consumer journey.
- Think like a customer: Continuously improve the online customer experience by analyzing customer behavior, conducting user testing, and implementing enhancements to increase conversion rates, reduce bounce rates, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Partner with agency and global team to develop and execute SEO strategies.
- Coach the team members on SFCC Business Manager, and share knowledge & key insights, platform releases & functionality with the wider team.
- Build strong internal relationships with US ECommerce, merchandising, operations and wider marketing & Global ECommerce team. Collaborate with and learn from colleagues in similar roles globally. Align on key initiatives and responsibilities.
Craft your career with us if you have:
- 3 – 5 years’ proven experience in site merchandising or category management.
- 1-3 years experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) / SFRA Business Manager.
- Deep understanding of site merchandising KPIs and optimization strategies.
- Proficient in web analytics tools. Content Square, Adobe Analytics, or similar BI tools preferred.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices.
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud / SFRA Business Manager experience required.
- Adobe Analytics experience (or similar, Google Analytics) required.
- Content Square experience is preferred.
- Must be analytical and data driven. Analyze data quantitatively & qualitatively, and use customer behavior data and metrics to back up assumptions and identify opportunities.
- Experience with SEO, Internal and External Search optimization, and A/B testing is required.
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work, excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Must be able to perform well in a deadline-driven, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
