What You’ll Do:
- Collaborates and consults with Distribution Services Leadership to define business needs, identify resource opportunities and develop plans to complete and achieve project/program requirements.
- Develops and leads implementation of comprehensive project plans for DS operational improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and other process improvement methodologies; scopes and assists in project definition for LSS projects.
- Sets achievements, identifies required resources, establishes interdependencies and cross functional timelines, to ensure project objectives are delivered on-time, within budget with consideration overall DS network impacts, facility constraints and capabilities within DC labor environment.
- Responsible for assessing DC operational tasks using MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique) method; develop recommendations to align with Operating Model principles - minimize ergonomic stresses, reduce turn time and eliminate waste.
- Accountable for creating and updating Operating model, work methods documentation; integrates updates in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); partners with DC Operations training team to update training requirements based on process updates.
- Partners with DC and GCI teams, demonstrates industry standard processes to assist in the development, delivery and maintenance of project management standards/methods, tools, documentation and training to support the ongoing development of strategic project management capabilities across DS network.
- Provides project management leadership and guidance to DC operations teams to help build knowledge and skill capability to lead a range of projects more effectively and efficiently.
- Partners with the project teams to influence and guides multiple, concurrent tasks and properly assesses priorities of assigned activities and ensures integration of all dependent projects.
About You:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Business Process Improvement, Quality, Operations or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in project management, with a focus on larger cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency of Lean and DMAIC tools; Yellow, Green or Black Belt Certification considered an asset.
- Excellent project management skills including structured project methodology (i.e. determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.); preparing and maintaining detailed development plans for projects; resolving project specifications; understanding and applying principles of project control to launch and manage new initiatives and innovations.
- Proven capacity to lead multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced environment and deliver high quality product under timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence business partners, to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization needs, build rapport and credibility to be a trusted advisor.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with senior leadership and positively influence outcomes in the best interest of the Company.
- Strong business writing skills with ability to write clearly and concisely, ability to respond optimally to sensitive inquiries, ability to write standard operating procedures and other business documents.

Salary Range: $87,031.00-$131,789.80 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
