Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join ONEX River Fabrication Shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project-related documents and records, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company and industry standards. This position will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Other responsibilities include:

  1. Maintain and manage all project documents, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
  2. Ensure documents are properly filed, indexed, and accessible to relevant team members.
  3. Control the distribution and revision of documents, ensuring the latest versions are available.
  4. Ensure all documentation complies with company and industry standards and regulations.
  5. Monitor document control processes and procedures, recommending improvements as needed.
  6. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to facilitate efficient document control and management.
  7. Generate and maintain document control reports and logs.
  8. Prepare documentation for project meetings and presentations.
  9. Utilize document control software and systems to manage electronic and physical documents.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve any document control system issues.
  11. Other tasks as required.

Our Ideal Candidate

  1. Diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  2. Proven experience in document control within an engineering or construction environment.
  3. Proficiency in document control software and systems (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  4. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
