Explore your next role:
As a member of the Documentation Department team, the Document Administrator position is responsible for editing, formatting, distributing, and maintaining the Company’s Compendium of Policies and Procedures documents and training programs. Additionally, this position provides support to the Safety & Risk Management Systems functions.
- Maintenance of CPP documents
- Maintenance of training programs (presentations, tests, and supporting documentation)
- Review changes to documentation for adherence to company standards and administrative errors
- Provide annual document review notification to document owners
- Provide copies of master documents to document owners or delegates for amendments
- Liaise with document owners or delegates on all documentation
- Final review to ensure documentation meets company standards prior to printing and distribution
- Submit regulatory CPP documents and training programs to Transport Canada for approval or review
- Print and distribute (paper and electronic) CPP documents
- Prepare and upload training presentations
- Maintain database of regulations and CPP documents for compliance matrix
- Provide copies of documentation on request for bids, reprints, etc.
- Provide notification to all personnel of CPP changes (additions, amendments, and deletions)
- Review any other company documentation as requested
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration or related field.
- Post-secondary education in document/records management, office administration, library science or related field.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint 2016.
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe Acrobat, DocuShare, OneNote, Visio, SharePoint and Access.
- Detail oriented, self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Effective verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Candidates must be eligible to work for a Canadian company, provide a clear criminal background check.
