Doctor Medical Aesthetics Assistant

Known as one of the most respectful, socially engaging and career forward clinics in Canada, Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Centre is hiring a passionate and motivated Doctor Medical Assistant to join our growing team.

We were established in 1996, as one of the largest leading Aesthetic Medical Clinics in Canada, setting the standards for ethical, non-surgical cosmetic enhancements.

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Support: Assist in educating patients on available treatments and procedures including lasers, injectables (Botox, dermal fillers), and skincare regimens.
2. Upselling: Proactively recommend and upsell services or products based on patient needs and goals to maximize sales and enhance patient results.
3. Appointment Scheduling & Rebooking: Ensure patients are rebooked for follow-up appointments and other services, aiming for high patient retention and continuous care.
4. Follow-Up Communication: Maintain patient relationships through follow-up communication (calls, emails, and texts), ensuring that patients feel cared for and are reminded of upcoming appointments or additional treatments that may benefit them.
5. Customer Service: Provide exceptional patient care throughout the treatment process, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience that encourages loyalty.
6. Assist with Treatments: Support the Medical Aesthetic Providers during procedures and help ensure everything runs smoothly. Previous experience with lasers and injectables is a significant advantage.
7. Maintain Treatment Rooms & Equipment: Ensure that treatment rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and in working order at all times.

Qualifications:

1. Aesthetic Background: Previous experience in the aesthetic industry is required (preferably with lasers, injectables, and skin care).
2. Sales & Upselling Experience: Proven ability to upsell services and products to clients with an emphasis on building patient loyalty and increasing retention.
3. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with patients through various channels (phone, email, text), with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
4. Customer Service Focused: Passionate about providing an exceptional patient experience and ensuring their satisfaction.
5. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Team Player: Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated and proactive.
7. Certifications/Training: Previous certification or training in aesthetic treatments (laser, injectables, skincare) is preferred, but not required.
