About The Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for making sure our fun filled product is delivered up to our standards - by supporting our managers to make sure we have the right people in the right place at the right time. And of course, making sure we have the right tools and skills to do that!
They directly manage 3 General Managers and 3 Assistant Managers, and indirectly manage 60+ part-time staff.
This position reports directly to the owners (Brittany and Rob) and works closely with them day-to-day.
Unlike many similar roles in retail or hospitality, this role isn’t directly responsible for achieving sales goals or dealing with massive inventories. The Ops Manager gets to focus almost all of their energy on helping and developing their teams, improving processes and ensuring we are delivering amazing customer experiences.

- Back-fill for GMs as required (vacations, vacancies, etc).
- Provide on-call support to managers for in-progress situations.
- Oversee inventory levels.
- Investigate and follow-up on negative customer experiences.

Facilities Responsibilities
- Regularly visit locations to ensure our standards are being upheld. This involves traveling to Calgary for a few days 6-8 times a year at a minimum.

- This role requires full time hours, including some weekends, evenings and holidays.
- We imagine about 25% of your time will be spent working on weekends throughout the year.
The successful candidate will have experience managing their own schedule and adjusting it for the cyclical needs of the business.
