Our client, a rapidly growing Quick Service Restaurant brand, is looking to hire a Director, Real Estate to drive continued market growth. Headquartered in London ON, our client has aggressive expansion plans and requires a seasoned professional to spearhead their National real estate strategy.

Position Summary:

Our client seeks a Director Real Estate with 5+ years of proven success in a similar role at an established quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand. This individual will lead real estate development efforts, identify and secure optimal locations to drive growth. The role is a hybrid position, combining remote work with occasional in-office and on-site responsibilities.

Director, Real Estate Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive real estate strategy to support the company’s growth objectives.
2. Identify, negotiate, and secure prime locations for new franchise openings.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, brokers, and developers.
4. Oversee market research and site analysis to ensure optimal location selection.
5. Manage lease agreements and ensure alignment with the company’s financial goals.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the finance, legal, and operations teams, to streamline site development processes.
7. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to capitalize on growth opportunities.
8. Provide strategic input on long-term real estate planning and expansion goals.

Director Real Estate Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in real estate leadership, specifically within the QSR industry.
2. Proven track record of securing prime locations and driving franchise growth.
3. Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of lease agreements.
4. Excellent relationship management with landlords, brokers, and other real estate partners.
5. Ability to interpret market trends and data to make informed decisions.
6. Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
7. Hybrid work experience is preferred, with flexibility to travel as needed.

Director, Real Estate Renumeration:

1. Base Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (commensurate with experience).
2. Bonus: 10-20% of base salary.
3. Vacation: 4 weeks.
4. Health Benefits: Provided.
