The Opportunity:
The Director Product Sales Specialist will play an imperative role at Symcor and will be responsible for driving revenue through selling products and services, developing sales strategies for assigned products and services, and understanding market needs, directly impacting the success of Symcor’s growth strategy.
About The Role:
- The Director Product Sales Specialist is responsible for understanding the customer’s strategic priorities and needs for assigned products and services to proactively drive new sales and growth opportunities.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients, proactively identifying potential sales opportunities across the organization, positioning Symcor as a strategic partner.
- Work with the Strategic Account Executive to identify product opportunities and build and execute account plans.
- Contributes to the development of new sales revenues by identifying new prospects.
- As the subject matter expert for assigned Symcor products and services, formulate winning sales strategies, and close deals.
- Work closely with Business Consultants on solutioning.
- Maintains a keen awareness of market needs, trends, and competition to inform Symcor’s sales strategy and account plans.
- Maintains, develops, and grows a robust pipeline, with accurate forecasting.
What You Need to Succeed:
Education:
- College diploma or undergraduate university degree in a related discipline
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within Financial Services or Insurance
- A proven track record of winning sales propositions, and maintaining client account plans
Skill requirements:
- Proficient in both French and English (verbal and written)
- The successful candidate must be an ambitious, self-motivated individual, with excellent communication and negotiation skills, engaging personality, along with a passion for sales
- Proficiency in CRM systems (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Change Management skills
- Process Oriented
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen
- Familiarity with sales workflows, lead generation and deal stages
