Director Procurement Operations

Hotel Brand:
Location: Mexico, Guadalajara

Implementation of global procurement strategic programmes & engagement to drive IHG and Owner ROI.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage delivery of key strategic projects for Global Procurement Operations including the Americas region.
• Liaise with key senior stakeholders to drive understanding of IHG Procurement structure, strategy and operating model.
• Develop and hire in region team.
• Deliver on SLA's for sourcing, helpdesk and analytics support.

Key Skills & Experiences

Educational Attainment: Bachelors degree in business or related field; MBA preferred.

• Critical Expertise & Experience:
• Experience in designing the strategy for and implementing global programs.
• Experience in project managing complex global programs.
• Experience in challenging the status quo and being a change agent.
• Experience managing external & internal stakeholders.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop talent.
• Influence & negotiation skills to collaborate with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to drive results.
• Expertise in using Source to Contract Tools is desirable.
