Job Summary:

Our client in Vaughan, Ontario is seeking a Senior Land Development Engineer to join their team! You will work alongside our client's Development Director as part of a multi-disciplinary land development team of consultants, lawyers, and contractors.

Our client is a midsized Developer primarily involved with residential and commercial land development projects, with a footprint that encompasses most of the GTA. They are a family run group with over thirty years of industry presence behind them. They have a solid reputation not only for the quality of the work they deliver, but also for the way they invest in their people. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking to gain valuable exposure to the client side of land development engineering.

Job Duties:

1. Preparation and maintenance of project proformas
2. Managing a team of multidisciplinary consultants
3. Administering tendering processes
4. Overseeing servicing, electrical and landscape contractors
5. Building and maintaining relationships with local municipalities
6. Processing payment certificates
7. Supervising the subdivision assumption process

Qualifications:

1. 7-10+ years of progressive experience in residential land development
2. P.Eng or CET Designation
3. Experience working in Engineering Consulting or Developer
4. Confident working within the Ontario land development process
5. Capable of taking control of projects
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
