Are you a hands-on health and safety leader ready to make a meaningful impact? Whether you come from transportation, construction, or an industrial environment, this is your opportunity to bring your experience to a company where safety is more than a program — it’s a core value.
We’re exclusively recruiting for our client, a well-established Canadian transportation and logistics company, to find their next Director of Health, Safety & Environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
Reporting to the Vice-President, you’ll lead the strategic direction of health, safety, environment, training, compliance, and claims across multiple provinces and business units — from rail to over-the-road operations.
You’ll be supported by two experienced HSE Managers and their teams and work closely with Vice-Presidents and operational leaders to embed a safety-first culture and unify safety efforts across the organization.
Whether you’re currently in transportation or bring deep health & safety leadership from construction or an industrial setting, this is your chance to take ownership of an HSE portfolio and help shape its future.

MUST HAVES :

- You’re a hands-on leader — visible, approachable, and comfortable working closely with drivers, operators, and frontline teams.
- You’ve built or enhanced HSE programs that align with operational goals and lead to real cultural change.
- You’re a confident communicator who builds trust across all levels of the organization.
- You’re tech-savvy and business-minded, with a sharp eye for improving systems, training, and risk management.
- You’re open to traveling regularly across the Prairie provinces to stay connected to your teams and operations.
