As the Director of Enterprise Solutions, you'll play a crucial role in driving the post-sales journey for our enterprise clients in the Central US. Leading a team of Customer Success Engineers, Solutions Architects, and Professional Services Engineers, you'll oversee the seamless deployment and optimization of Apollo GraphQL solutions, ensuring our customers achieve their business objectives and maximize ROI.

What you’ll do
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to architect, deploy, and optimize Apollo GraphQL solutions for enterprise clients, driving customer success and satisfaction. This includes providing clear direction, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction, service delivery, and revenue growth.
- Strategically expand regional service delivery capabilities and team size to surpass enterprise services revenue goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Cultivate deep, strategic relationships with customers, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored GraphQL API solutions that deliver value. This involves actively engaging with customers to understand their challenges, aligning team resources to address those challenges, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Advocate for the advancement of Apollo's service delivery capabilities to address complex customer requirements and industry trends. This includes staying abreast of industry best practices, technology advancements, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to develop and execute comprehensive business plans that foster regional growth and customer adoption. This entails aligning sales and service delivery strategies to drive customer success and revenue growth.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for customer use-case expansion, fostering engagement and revenue growth. This involves proactively identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, collaborating with Sales and Product teams to develop compelling value propositions, and driving successful customer outcomes.
- Work cross-functionally with GTM and Product teams to ensure seamless delivery of GraphQL API management solutions to our customers. This includes collaborating with Product Management to provide customer feedback and insights, informing product roadmap decisions, and ensuring successful product launches and implementations.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Extensive experience in customer-focused leadership roles, overseeing enterprise professional services, solutions, and/or customer success teams.
- Demonstrated success in leading post-sales teams within the API or Infrastructure space, with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs related to customer satisfaction, service delivery, and revenue growth.
- Exceptional business acumen with a deep understanding of enterprise software buyer dynamics and major industry verticals within the Central US region.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Location: This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the US or Canada but will be required to work CST hours.
