Wi-Com Solutions, an award-winning Motorola Solutions Platinum Channel Partner, is seeking an experienced, ambitious professional to grow Wi-Com's business in Calgary and the surrounding area.

Who You Are:

  • A proven "A" Player. An entrepreneurial, self-starter that possesses a solid track record in business development
  • Experienced in growing a successful business in video surveillance or related industry
  • Driven to grow and build a successful career in wireless communications and IoT
  • 10+ years direct experience in B2B (hi-tech preferred)
  • A professional with a strong network, excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ready for a rewarding challenge

What You Will Do:

  • You will be a key driver of the national expansion and success of Wi-Com's operations
  • Establish trusting and long-term relationships with customers and vendors
  • Build out a team to support expanding operations
  • Communicate effectively creating synergies with head office and branch offices across Canada

About Us: Wi-Com Solutions has been in business since 2009. Today we have offices in Calgary, Lethbridge, Canmore, Kelowna, Toronto, and Ottawa and are in the process of expanding our national business. We are a Motorola Solutions and Icom two-way radio dealer as well as Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, and Schlage complete complement of video security and access door control. We also provide satellite, data, and IoT solutions, in-building cellular/wireless BDA's and enhancements. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 years' prior industry-related business development experience
  • Operations, sales management experience in a technical environment
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with proven success
  • Professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Class 5 Driver's License

Pay: $60,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
