Job description

As a Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the President in managing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves overseeing cash management functions, managing a team, and contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of daily financial operations. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days a week in the office, located in downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee cash management processes and daily financial operations
  • Manage treasury operations, including banking relationships and cash flow optimization
  • Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A recognized accounting designation (CPA preferred) is required; Big 4 CPA experience is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting leadership roles, with public practice experience
