The Role:

We are seeking a Director of Communications to lead and execute our global communications strategy during a pivotal phase of transformation and brand evolution. This role is a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, requiring a leader who can drive high-level initiatives while managing day-to-day communications.

As we embark on a global brand refresh, this role will play a critical part in shaping our narrative, strengthening our reputation, and ensuring alignment across all regions.

This is a temporary contract position for one year with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to communicate the Company’s evolving vision, mission, and strategic priorities across all stakeholders.
  • Lead the global rollout of the new brand identity, ensuring consistency across locations.
  • Drive brand positioning and development, aligning messaging and visual identity with company values and goals.
  • Oversee branding materials, media assets, and design updates, managing the company’s media library.
  • Implement a comprehensive communications strategy that supports the company’s transformation and brand refresh.
  • Ensure clear, timely communication across all channels, balancing business priorities with stakeholder needs.
  • Manage corporate internal communications and maintain the company intranet on SharePoint.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly meetings with site communication teams to align efforts and provide guidance.
  • Oversee the corporate events calendar and collaborate with internal departments on company events and updates.
  • Track and report key communication metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including HR, Investor Relations, and Sustainability to align messaging and engagement strategies.
  • Foster a culture of transparency and engagement by enhancing internal communication practices.
  • Mentor and guide site communication teams, promoting innovation and collaboration.
  • Establish best practices to measure and optimize communication impact.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in communications and brand development, including leadership roles.
  • Post-graduate degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
  • Proven expertise in brand transformation, including strategy development and execution.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a global, multi-market environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex business changes with clarity, confidence, and strategic influence.
  • Demonstrated success in corporate communications, content creation, and event management.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and other communication tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the company’s operations as needed.
