As a Product Owner, you will be a senior leader and act as a mini-CEO for our digital products, co-defining product strategy with the business, planning product roadmap, driving product delivery with delivery team, and measuring/optimizing business impact.

Sanofi currently has great opportunities to join our Digital Clinical Development team. You will have a chance to help build our Digital R&D products by developing outstanding capabilities that will participate in new drug discovery together with scientists, in trial efficiency and cycle time reduction, leveraging Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary group to achieve the product vision, collaborating with the business, and sprinting towards your goals with engineers and data scientists.

In this role, you will focus on building data and AI clinical development products that bridge pre-clinical, clinical, and real-world evidence together to support the strategy, plan and operations of our clinical trials. Your expertise will be crucial in creating innovative solutions that enhance our drug development process, changing our business counterpart in Development to be an AI-driven force deriving value from our products.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Own the product from a "What" and "Why" perspective
2. Define, create, and communicate product roadmap aligned with business objectives and supported by business cases, market research, customer data and competitive analysis
3. Work cross-functionally with all areas of the business, partnerships, and with senior stakeholders in strategy, research, technology, operations, and marketing departments
4. Be accountable for delivering incremental value every sprint
5. Manage backlog prioritization of work
6. Work with the delivery team daily, answering questions, addressing ambiguities, being available to solve issues
7. Inspire the team and bring a unique vision and perspective for what is possible
8. Define, track, and be accountable for product value metrics and outcomes

About You

Experience:

1. 4+ years of experience in product management, or building complex digital solutions, preferably with experience in healthcare/biotech.
2. Strong technical background in AI and software design, proven through at least 3 years of experience within a software-oriented role building products.
3. Experience in a healthcare company building analytics on clinical and real-world patient datasets is a strong plus.

1. Strong drive and ability to build & share product vision
2. Excellent communication & presenting skills, including with executive stakeholders
3. Proven business sense, ability to take decisions, think strategically and partner with business/other teams
4. Track-record of problem-solving & overcoming roadblocks in a complex environment, with "get things done" mindset
5. Strong cross-functional leadership & influencing skills
6. Strong project management skills

Technical skills:

1. Strong knowledge of Lean & Agile practices, UX/UI design, and software design & application lifecycle management
2. Rich understanding of how AI technologies work within a Clinical or Development domain. Bonus if you can really articulate AI Product value within drug development.

Education:

1. Bachelor's Degree or above in science, information technology, engineering, computer science or equivalent.
