A strong and active professional association, the Association of Interior REALTORS supports its REALTOR Members to serve consumers throughout vast and diverse regions from South, Central and North Okanagan, Kamloops, and Kootenay regions, to South Peace River.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Association is broadening its team and is in search of a highly motivated, media-savvy, and meticulously organized professional to join us as a Digital Marketing Associate.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who embodies a robust work ethic, exceptional communication abilities, and unwavering reliability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a steadfast commitment to delivering superior client service, exhibit proficiency in managing diverse client interactions, and possess exemplary time management skills. They should thrive both as a collaborative team member and as an independent contributor. We value individuals who can take initiative and drive tasks to successful completion with minimal supervision.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and with the direction and collaboration from the Communications team, this position's primary responsibility is to support the execution of various digital marketing campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and contribute to the continuous improvement and enhancement of the Association's digital media presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, search engines, and more.
  • Collaborate directly with the communication team to create compelling and relevant content for the Association's digital platforms.
  • Support and assist with the company's website and social media profiles to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Gather and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital marketing efforts.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in the digital landscape.
  • Support the execution of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
  • Adapt to new responsibilities and perform other duties as assigned and required.

CONSEQUENCE OF ERROR / JUDGMENT

Works closely with the COO, the Association of Interior REALTORS staff, and autonomously with attention to timelines, details, and a high level of accuracy. Exercises judgment and initiative in examining and maintaining the Association of Interior REALTORS's communication, based on a clear understanding of policies and procedures. Accurately providing information is important with decision making; errors in judgment may impact the short/long term reputation and commitment of Association of Interior REALTORS's strategic goals.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (Communications / Digital Marketing). 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing or a related role in a client-driven organization and/or a combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing platforms, social media management tools.
  • Effective ability to develop and execute digital marketing strategies to respond to the changing business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

JOB STATUS: FULL-TIME, Monday to Friday

HOURS OF WORK: 8:30am-4:30pm. (37.5 hours/week)

LOCATION: Hybrid, this position must work at least two days in the office from either the Kamloops or Kelowna office location.

SALARY RANGE: $47,062 to $61,180 per annum.
