Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Digital Asset Manager to oversee the organization, security, and accessibility of digital assets across the enterprise.
This role is essential for maintaining an efficient digital asset management (DAM) system, improving DevOps automation, and ensuring seamless integration with platforms like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
The ideal candidate will collaborate with platform administrators, software developers, and business stakeholders to enhance asset governance and optimize content workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Management & Organization: Maintain and optimize the DAM system, ensuring proper metadata application, taxonomy, and adherence to governance standards.
Provide guidance on system architecture and usage.
System Optimization & Maintenance: Conduct regular audits, manage permissions, and implement governance practices for digital assets.
Oversee system updates and ensure compliance with standards.
Integration & Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with business and technology teams to integrate DAM with other tools.
Partner with marketing, content, and creative teams to ensure assets are effectively utilized.
User Training & Support: Develop training materials, onboard new users, and provide ongoing support to ensure proper DAM utilization. Lead best practices and compliance initiatives.
Security & Compliance: Manage access controls, conduct periodic audits, and address any non-compliance issues to ensure content security and governance.
Required Qualifications
Experience in financial services or a similar regulated industry.
Strong understanding of AEM DAM capabilities and asset workflows.
Proficiency in metadata standards, digital asset categorization, and taxonomy.
Familiarity with automation tools, scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell), and version control systems.
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and automated pipeline processes.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration.
University degree required; Master's in technology or business preferred.
