RT Medical Job Description

RT Medical is looking for a Registered Dietician to join our virtual clinic. As a Registered Dietician with our team, you will:

• Provide virtual clinical dietetic services to clients through the assessment, planning, implementing and outcome evaluation of nutritional goals and care plans.
• Provide recommendations based on assessment and treatment modalities.
• Facilitate client/patient/group education classes.
• Collaborate with members of the health care team.

What you bring:

• Graduated from an approved Registered Dietician program with a Bachelor of Science in food, nutrition and health, or equivalent.
• Registration and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
• Liability insurance.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience.

What you also have:

• Skills in technology and experience with various EMR’s and Microsoft Teams.
• Discipline working remotely and in a virtual telehealth environment.
• Ability to work in unique, fast-paced environments.
• Good knowledge of dietician theory and practice.
• Teach and provide effective consultation.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, organizational and decision-making skills.
• High adaptability capacity.
• Registration in other provinces is an asset.
