Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

Big 4 Trucking seeks CERTIFIED DIESEL MECHANICS for our new shop opening in early 2025. We are looking for mechanics with proven experience working with diesel engines and that are also familiar with industrial equipment. Position expectations are as follows:

1. Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines.
2. Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes.
3. Interprets diagnostic test results accurately.
4. Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans.
5. Collaborates with other diesel mechanics.

Job Type: Full-time

1. 10 hour shift
2. Monday to Friday/Rotating Saturdays
3. Weekend availability

Experience:

1. Automotive repair: 1 year
2. Industrial equipment: 1 year
3. Automotive diagnostics: 1 year

License/Certification:

1. EPA Type II
2. Diesel Mechanic Certification (Required)
