Diesel Mechanic - Southland Region (Gore-Based)

Exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery across Southland!

We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team, working on a variety of construction machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and more. If you have experience in maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs—including electrical work—this could be the perfect role for you!

About the Role:

• Location: Workshop based in Gore, with travel across Southland (occasional overnight stays in places like Dunedin)
• Customer-facing: Provide expert service to clients on-site, building strong relationships
• Variety: Split between workshop work and going out to clients for field servicing
• Company vehicle: You'll be provided with a Ute for travel to client sites

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in diesel mechanics and heavy machinery repair
• Skilled in electrical work on construction machinery
• Comfortable with travel and staying overnight when required
• Available to start in February for an ongoing role
