DEVELOPMENT QA TESTER

REPORTS TO: DEVELOPMENT LEAD QA

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

1. Create and maintain issues report in the database;
2. Perform a close follow-up on major issues with the development team;
3. Help enforce a QA approach inside the production team for maintaining the highest stability level;
4. Generate custom builds to test specific features before they are provided to production;
5. Perform smoke tests on pre-release builds to identify major bugs before they hit production or publishing QA;
6. Identify regressions in the game by comparing with previous builds;
7. Help build and maintain test plans for the game;
8. Write and send summaries of build status to the team.

WHAT YOU BRING:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a functional tester or at least 1 year of experience as a QA Developer;
2. Ability to determine the source of crashes based on call stacks;
3. Basic understanding of a production cycle and ability to evaluate the issue’s severity;
4. Ability to work within a team;
5. Autonomy and proactivity;
6. Good communication skills;
7. Ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of Perforce or other source control managers.
