Developer Experience Technical Product Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead and scale our product solutions that empower developers and users to engage with cross-chain applications easily.

The Developer Experience TPM will be critical to scaling our existing portfolio of products with which developers interface. They will oversee the product life cycle, focusing on developer tools (ITS, Axelarscan, SDK, Express services, etc.). They will work closely with Marketing, DevRel, and Business Development teams to execute GTM activities and grow these products.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in blockchain technology, a deep understanding of blockchain interoperability, and experience building products for developers.

Your responsibilities

• Developer Tools Strategy & Roadmap:Define, execute, and communicate the strategy and roadmap for Axelar’s developer-facing products (e.g., Axelarscan.io, SDKs, ITS, GMP Express), ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.

• Leadership & Team Management:Manage the execution of a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

• Customer & Market Research:Lead efforts to gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify product opportunities and areas for improvement.

• Collaboration:Work closely with Engineering, Business Development, DevRel, and Marketing teams to ensure product features align with Axelar’s technical capabilities and user needs.

• Execution:Own the product development lifecycle, managing the process from ideation to deployment. Prioritize features and improvements based on user feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.

• Stakeholder Management:Serve as the primary product contact for internal and external stakeholders, including customers and community members.

• Metrics & KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and iterate on features or approaches based on data-driven insights.

Your profile

• Experience:8+ years of experience in product management, ideally working on developer-facing products.

• Technical Background:Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cross-chain interoperability, and decentralized networks. Having empathy for developers is a must to be successful in this role.

• Leadership: Proven experience building and leading product and/or engineering teams.
