Responsibilities of a Detention Centre Security Guard

1. Watch and assist with processing of detainees
2. Regular wellness checks
3. Recognize medical concerns

Qualifications of a Detention Centre Security Guard

1. Policing / correctional training or 3+ years of security experience
2. Have a clear criminal background
3. First Aid CPR Level C (issued by Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Heart and Stroke)
