What you will do:
The Project and Design Team is at the heart of our operation. This is the team that takes our vision and makes it a reality. From design, planning, execution, and maintenance this team is what brings to life our brand.
The interior designer is a key part of our process. In this role, you will be able to support new projects and consult on existing ones. Dreaming up new guest experiences and new spaces, renovating existing infrastructures will all be impacted by the work of the interior designer.
Responsibilities:
- Design new client experiences based on spa space, company values, and branding.
- Actively participate in creative development and brainstorming meetings.
- Produce preliminary plans, block plans, sketches, and layout plans for new or existing guest experiences.
- Produce graphic designs, presentations, and signage for guest experiences.
- Participate in 3D modeling of plans and designs.
- Stay up to date with standards, regulation and building codes that may affect project design and rentability.
- Aid in the creation of reference materials and best practices, to make sure guest experience is implemented as it was designed.
- Provide creative solutions should there be issues in implementation that require redesign.
To be successful in this position you will need:
- Have a college degree in architecture, in design or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
- Functional bilingualism required (good understanding of French and English).
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite.
- Working knowledge of technical drawing software (Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Sketch-up).
- Proficiency in the Adobe suite is considered an asset.
- Various experiences in interior design.
- Have a basic understanding of BIM 360, LEAN or other collaborative project management methodologies and platforms is considered an asset.
