About the Project:
Cross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc., and Arcadis Canada Inc. general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a new, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.
Position Overview:
The Design Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Design Manager and be responsible for liaising with the design team, the construction team, and project management team as well as other members of the project team on a regular basis for this progressive design-build project.
Key Responsibilities:
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or relevant field of study) and a minimum of 2+ years related professional experience working as a project coordinator in an engineering business or demonstrated equivalency of experience or education.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in heavy infrastructure engineering, with a specific focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
Experience in tunneling projects will be considered a strong asset.
Proficient in software related to the construction industry (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam, etc.).
Excellent communication skills including the ability to read and understand contract documents and technical background information and prepare written proposals in response to project pursuits.
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of the organization.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $94,000 – $127,000. Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and geographical location. Listed compensation is exclusive of bonus and in addition to our extensive employee benefits program which is listed above. Availability of certain benefits may vary based on the specific job role.
